My favorite big city. The energy inspires me

The whole month of February. Travelling with Redback travels from the North to the South. Yoga everyday! Plus plenty of site seeing and fun with the locals. 

A stop at Le Louvre to see some gorgeous art. 

A quick trip to Chicago. The Willis Tower was amazing, and so was the underground pizza joint we found. I'll definitely want to go again. 

Visiting my family and soaking up the sunshine.

Exploring life in the midwest. It's definitely no New York City, but it has it's charm.

Jordane and I were in NYC on November 13th to photograph the hard working athletes who have been working all year on perfecting their training and diets for the 2010 World's competition. It was a great show with a huge number of athletes. We got amazing pictures of all of them. To see the pics go to www.elmassian.net and click on the "World's" tab on the top right.  

We came across these amazing corn fields while driving through Missouri. How fun for us city kids to see corn growing! :) The simple things in life. We had to stop and smell the corn husks. And get a good photo from atop the car. 

I competed for my first time in PRO Figure and I took 5th place! Whew. Next year watch out! I also came in 2nd place again for the Best Body Swimsuit competition. Here are some pics!  

I'm going on vacation, yay! But oh wait, I still have a goal to reach. That's okay, because I know I can do it!! I will find a way or make one. Since my experience has taught me that reaching goals is not about eating exactly the perfect food or doing exactly the perfect workouts but rather about maintaining a mental committment ("I am doing this no matter what!") and continuing to orient my behaviors in the direction of my goals I know that wherever I am or what the surroundings I can find a way to stay healthy and fit. Staying on track is not a sacrafice, it's a trade in, for a different reward, a greater one. So stay tuned to see me workout on vacation! Maybe I'll even tryyy to speak French! hehe

During the fourth of July Jessica made some people sweat in the scenic surroundings of Montauk Long Island. Stay tuned for details on an upcoming bikini camp at The Surf Lodge this August. 

Jessica came in a close 2nd in the Best Body Bikini Show at the Hercules Championships on June 26th. Check out the gallery for more photos of this event. 

Jessica was awarded her pro card for taking first place in the pro-qualifier show Mr. and Ms. Natural Universe in Barbados. She will no longer compete as an amateur.

The results are out! The INBF/WNBF Mr. and Ms. Natural Universe BB & Figure Pro & Amateur Competition in Barbados June 12, 2010 was a great success. Jessica managed to take home first place in Amateur Figure Overall and earn her Pro Card! She's is now ready to move up to the big leagues and start competing with the best in the world. Jessica took home the trophy in her first debut in the Best Body Swimsuit competition of the Hercules show, June 27th 2009, and was also awarded 2nd place in Novice Figure 

September 19th 2009 Jessica took home the trophy for the Novice Figure Category at the Naturalmania competition in NYC. 
 

Jessica was featured in Fitness & Physique magazine for her win as Sports Model in the August 2009 New Jersey OCB Show

Jessica won the title of Ms. Fitness So Cal in Vista California in May 2008. This was her first ever Fitness Competition. Her dance routine was to the song Boom Boom Boom Bang by Big Head Todd And The Monsters. She gave a speech about her passion for fitness and her brothers inspiration and wore a sparkled royal purple gown.

Jessica attended a preparation camp in Dallas to learn and experience more about the world of fitness competition. During the practice show she was awarded first place in the Sports Model category.
